Weekend Buzz: Restless Heart, High Noon, Classics on the Square

MPAC is hosting a concert and family fun on the courthouse lawn. Meanwhile, those vintage automobiles return downtown. There is plenty to do this weekend in McKinney.

Restless Heart (Friday): One of RCA’s greatest band success stories of the 80s and 90s is coming to the McKinney Performing Arts Center! Restless Heart dominated the country music scene in the 80s and 90s with a series of Billboard hits and No. 1 songs, gold-selling albums, numerous award nominations and singles. A few tickets still available for the Friday concert at 8 p.m. Tickets available online and by calling 214-544-4630.

High Noon on the Courthouse Lawn (Friday): Head to downtown McKinney on Friday at lunchtime for “High Noon on the Courthouse Lawn” being held every Friday in September and October. Enjoy free activities and entertainment from noon to 1 p.m. Bistro tables will be available on the grassy areas surrounding the McKinney Performing Arts Center for guests to enjoy lunch and experience great live entertainment and fun activities.
This week: BINGO!

Classics on the Square (Saturday): The local classic car and truck enthusiast group, the Morning Maniacs, hosts a show and shine the first Saturday of each month from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Pictured above). Stop by the square and check out some amazing vintage cars and trucks, then enjoy some breakfast and maybe a little shopping too.
