McKinney Bridal Show (Saturday): McKinney offers some of the most perfect locations and outstanding wedding service providers for brides wanting a truly unique experience on their special day. From venue to caterer, to flowers and officiants, McKinney has everything for the bride-to-be. Meet with more than 50 of the area’s top wedding exhibitors, hear expert advice from wedding professionals, experience tastings and receive special discounts. Third Monday Trade Days (Friday-Sunday): Weather should be perfect for strolling the 16 acres of Third Monday Trade Days this weekend. Shop for trendy attire, home décor, antiques, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind Valentine gifts for your sweetie. Take advantage of the all-weather parking, covered booths, heated Mall, ATMs, and bargain prices. Located just two miles west of Central Expressway (U.S. 75) at 4550 W. Old Red Lumberyard (Friday-Saturday): Looking for a special vintage piece or someone else’s junk that is a treasure to you? You can find all sorts of shabby chic pieces and collectibles at the Old Red Lumberyard and surrounding vendors in the Flour Mill District. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

weekend aaron's raceAaron’s Race & Roll (Saturday): Aaron’s Race and Roll is a 5K or 1K race to give kids or adults with challenges, disabilities and issues the chance to accomplish a goal. It is open to racers of all abilities (able bodied or special needs) with a special division for those with special needs. The race is a school project of a student at McKinney’s Imagine International School to raise money for ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship in McKinney. Registration closes Friday, Jan. 17.
