Want to get involved in your community? Make a difference? Volunteer McKinney Center offers a few ways how you can. Here are this week’s volunteer opportunities:
Race for the Parks. On October 29, the Trek or Treat 4K Run/Walk will take place at Watters Creek in Allen benefiting Allen Parks Foundation. Volunteers are needed to help with site setup, registration and packet pickup, course directions, water station, and refreshments. Fun Run. The sixth annual Crape Myrtle Trails Fun Run in McKinney is scheduled for Saturday, November 19 with all types of fun activities for the whole family. Volunteers are needed to help with parking, drink station, directions, water distribution, and collection of race trips. Farm Animal Lovers. Chestnut Square Historic Village is seeking volunteers to help care for two white miniature goats. Regular feeding, watering, and clean-up will keep these goats happy.
