•Court and Victim Advocate. MADD’s mission is to support drunk driving, support victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking. Volunteers are needed to provide support to victims of drunk driving collisions by assisting with support groups and attending court sessions with victims. Other volunteers act as Case Watchers to observe and keep accurate records of DUI cases as they proceed through the court system. Weekday availability is necessary for this position. For additional information, use Keywords “Victim Advocate” on the
VMC web site.
•Community MADDvocate. If you enjoy public speaking and would like to educate the community about ways to stop drunk driving, this is the opportunity for you. These volunteers may speak with law enforcement personnel and at hospitals and funeral homes to provide information to victims of drunk driving.
