The Board of Directors of the Volunteer McKinney Center is pleased to announce their new Executive Director, Dana Riley, who started her position Monday.
Dana brings over 20 years of experience working with volunteers in government and non-profit settings. She is well-known for her speaking ability and has served as a consultant and trainer to corporations, government agencies and non-profits across the country regarding volunteerism, community partnerships, volunteer management and emergency preparedness.
“I am excited to become a part of the Volunteer McKinney Center where I can use the skills and insight I have gained over my career to make a difference in this community,” Riley said. “The McKinney area has so many wonderful Non-Profits and Community Groups. I am honored to get to work alongside them as we serve.”
“The Board is excited to have Dana Riley leading us in our efforts to serve this community,” said Mike Foster, Board President of Volunteer McKinney Center
Since 1998, the Volunteer McKinney Center has served this community through volunteer recruitment, community event planning and support of local non-profits through training and networking.
As we move into a new era, we are planning a new inter-active website that will help citizens find a volunteer opportunity that is right for them, as well as new events and programs that will meet the needs of this growing community.
