MISD volleyball teams went 1-2 in Tuesday night action. Follow the results right here on TSB.
The Lady Broncos improved to 1-1 in District 10-5A play with a road win at Plano 3-2. Scores of the match were 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-16, and 15-11. The comeback was led by Megan Mollett, who had a team-high 15 kills, and Kelly Koop, who had 9 kills. Mollett and Tori Turck both had three aces, while Koop had two of her own.
Boyd will return home to face Allen (0-2) on Friday night. Game time is 6 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Wylie and lost in three sets, with scores resulting in 18-25, 15-25, and 14-25, to drop their record to 2-4 in District 13-4A. Melissa Nichols led the team in kills with seven while Allison Camp added six on the night. Lindsey Denne led all setters with eight assists and Lexey Wilson continued to dominate defensively for the Bulldogs with 11 digs. Megan Brehm added two aces tonight for the Lady Bulldogs as well.
North will head to Sherman (0-6) on Friday to wrap up the first half of district play. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
