TXU Energy Utility Assistance Day Set For March 5

clc-txu logoDue to great response for the first program, there will be another TXU Energy Utility Assistance Day on March 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Community Lifeline Center, it was recently announced.

CLC is providing bill paying assistance to TXU customers, thanks to the TXU Energy Aid Program. Ceiling fans will also be available to homeowners while supplies last.

It is open to people living in Altoga, Anna, Blue Ridge, Celina, Copeville, Farmersville, Josephine, Lavon, Lowery Crossing, McKinney, Melissa, Nevada, New Hope, Princeton, Prosper, Westminster, and Weston.

Eligibility: Low or fixed income residents may qualify for assistance. In addition, families experiencing a short-term crisis (unemployment, medical, or other family crisis) may qualify.

What to Bring:

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of income for the previous 30 days for each household member over the age of 18
  • Current TXU Energy bill
