TSB’s Top Sports Stories of 2013: UIL Realignment To Split Up Boyd, MHS (No. 6)

Class realignment within University Interscholastic League athletics will send McKinney Boyd to the new 6A class in 2014, while McKinney High may move down a class, MISD Athletic Director Shawn Pratt told TownSquareBuzz.com.

Pratt said although it is a “new” 6A class, all schools in the 6A class will be made up of schools currently playing 5A in 2013.

Sure enough, when cutoff numbers were released, it became certain that Boyd and MHS would be split up.
