1.A Christmas Story (1983) – “You’ll shoot your eye out!” The attention to detail and feeling of nostalgia truly makes this film a classic. The clever writing and the infamous Leg Lamp allow for many laughs and the joy of getting what you really want for Christmas resonates with us all.
2. Christmas Vacation (1989) – “It’s the gift that keeps on giving, Clark.” We all have that one relative we hope doesn’t show up for Christmas but always does. This movie plays on all the holiday worries and wonderfully masters the chaos surrounding family gatherings.
