Advent Activity Day 21: Feed Someone
In 2010, 14% of Collin County residents were listed as food insecure. That’s alot of hungry neighbors, people. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways we can all pitch in and help. Grab a couple of jars of nutritinally dense peanut butter. Take these items to the Food Pantry located at 307 Smith St. If that’s not convenient, luckily, most grocery stores in our area take donations on behalf of the organizations that make it their business to make sure nobody goes without over the holidays or ever.

Fun Stuff To Do in the McKinney Area Today:
Dec. 21: Take the kids to the grocery store today and have them take a stroll down the baby food aisle. Allow them to buy what they would like to feed a baby. Let them give their gift of food to the Food Pantry. Then, head out to the Heard Museum to make nature ornaments for your family Christmas tree.
