Advent Activity Day 16: Shop
Don’t look now, but Christmas is literally around the corner. This is a good weekend to finish up any last minute shopping, or, in many cases, get started. Either way, before you head out, take a few minutes to make a list, decide on a budget, then stick to it. Whenever possible, use cash. There’s something about physically parting with the green stuff, that keeps us a little more honest, and a lot more frugal. Plus, you won’t have to worry about those pesky credit card bills biting you on the tail this time next month. In the Spirit of the Season, consider purchasing an extra gift for Toys for Tots, or for your favorite worthy cause.
