Advent Activity Day 13: Sing Out Loud
Like dancing, singing has a long list of positive benefits. And, the good news is, it doesn’t really matter whether you can carry a tune or not. Just making a joyful noise is all you really have to do to garner the good stuff. So, today, while you drive, sing along with the radio. Or, tonight after supper, gather the family for kareoke night. If you’re really in the spirit, call a few friends, bundle up, then, treat the neighbhorhood to a little impromptu door to door caroling. Top the evening off with some hot apple cidar, and lots of good laughs.

Fun Stuff To Do in the McKinney Area Today:
Dec. 13: Before you head out to serenade the neighbors tonight, grab your slow cooker and combine a 64 fluid ounce bottle apple cider, 3 cinnamon sticks, and 1/3 cup of brown sugar over high heat. Wrap 1 teasppon of whole allspice and 1 teaspoon of whole cloves in a small piece of cheesecloth and add it to the pot. Reduce the heat and let it simmer while you sing to your heart’s content. When you get home, serve and enjoy.
