The Kiwanis Club of McKinney has scheduled their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser for Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the First Christian Church fellowship hall. Choirs from Webb Elementary and McClure Elementary will perform this year during the morning.
Penny Davis, elementary choirs coordinator, has partnered with the Kiwanis Club in an effort to raise awareness of the MISD elementary school choir’s, help build student confidence, pride and esteem, raise funds for school fine arts departments and support local charities. Webb Elementary will perform at 9:30 with McClure Elementary performing at 10:30.
The club will serve pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and coffee from 6:30am until 11:30 a.m. The breakfast is like a large family gathering, in that people meet old friends and make new ones. Everyone visits with each other, laugh a lot and have a great time. Brian Hazelwood, Kiwanis Club President, stated “with the school choirs singing, this years breakfast should be a fun event”.
All 100 percent of the net proceeds from the pancake breakfast are used to support charitable activities.
Tickets can be purchased from School Students, any Kiwanis Member, or at the
door the morning of the Breakfast.
