By Mike Bruu, TSB Sports Writer
The Sports Bruu Podcast rolls into its 22nd episode with the entertainment specialist Michele Bernard joining Mike in the kitchen to discuss a little sports and entertainment. The two get started by debating the controversial cancelling of “Cookie Talk” during Rangers broadcasts. No matter what your position on the matter is, you will be thoroughly entertained with this discussion.
The Buzzer Beaters are back with some Olympic talk, with the gang reviewing the lackluster Opening Ceremonies and the first couple of days of competiton. Also, in light of the news breaking of a possible trade of Cliff Lee back to the Rangers, Mike and Michele talk about what this could mean for the struggling Texas ballclub.
Finally, the show ends with an intense talk about the parent-child dynamics of kids trying to follow their dreams. This is spawned from the National Anthem that was performed by a kid at the MLS game in Frisco this past weekend that was less that pleasant on the ears. This is a great conversation that is well worth the listen.
