`The Princeton Review: Getting In’ Seminar Set for Collin College

collin college logo 2Applying to college can be stressful.  Today’s aspiring students must distinguish themselves from the majority when competing for top spots at institutions across the nation.

Partnering with students to give them the edge they will need, Destination College will host “The Princeton Review: Getting In” from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 in the Living Legends Conference Center at the Spring Creek Campus in Plano, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway.

The seminar will cover critical information, such as secrets to getting accepted to America’s “finest colleges,” how to prepare, and how to take control of the college search. Another daunting question, “How can I beat the SAT and ACT?” will also be addressed.

“The Princeton Review has been a long-time partner and resource in our effort to bring information about the college admissions process to area parents and students,” Destination College Coordinator Brooke Ingersoll said. “We’re excited to provide students with answers to some of their questions as they prepare to apply to schools.”

While the workshop is free, registration is required. It is important to note that this workshop is in no way related to Princeton University.

To register, visit www.collin.edu/destinationcollege. For questions, call972.377.1772.

Destination College is a Collin College initiative that helps high school students and their parents to get ready for college, no matter which institution they choose.
