The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation instituted the Grant Program to 2012 as another means to promote the growth and development of youth baseball and softball. The Foundation awarded grants to 11 non-profit organizations in Texas and Louisiana in 2013 for a total of $90,000.00 in funds. Details on the 2014 Foundation Grant Program will be announced in March.
Since its creation in 1992, the Rangers Foundation has constructed 12 baseball fields and supported thousands of children playing for RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) and Miracle League programs.
