Need a little extra help on what to put under your tree this Christmas? I’ve got your back. Here are my top ideas that I could come up with to help you out and make sure your teenager isn’t getting coal in their stocking.
1. Gift Cards.
They’re the easiest thing to buy and possibly the easiest way to your kids’ heart. Go to their favorite restaurant, store, the movies, or just give them a credit card gift card. It is straight money and any kid will love it.
2. Concert or Sports Games Tickets
I’m a die-hard Yankee fan and if I opened up some Yankee game tickets on Christmas day, I know I would love that present. If your kid loves the Rangers, Cowboys, Stars, ect or if they have a favorite band that’s coming to town, a ticket is a great gift for them.
3. iPhone 5
This phone just came out and it’s the top thing on my Christmas list. My generation thrives on phones, so a new Iphone would be a great gift and investment. Trust me, for the amount your kid probably texts, you won’t regret this pick.
4. iPad, iPod, and basically any other technology
I know any kid would love one of Apple’s products, including the new mini iPad or latest versions of the iPod. But it doesn’t stop at Apple products. Get them anything that plugs into an outlet and has a charger. A laptop, TV, speakers, headphones, the list goes on and on. You’ll never go wrong with technology.
5. James Avery Jewelry
This idea really pertains for the girls, but they have some guy stuff do. This jeweler extraordinaire that has various locations, including Frisco and Fairview, has something for every girl. I know any girl would love a ring or a necklace from James Avery. Or you can start your daughter a charm bracelet!
6. Ralph Lauren Polo Shirts
For some reason this year, Ralph Lauren’s classic Polo shirts came back into style. Walk through the halls at any of the high schools or middle schools in McKinney and you will see the assorted colored shirts every time. The shirts are super comfy and especially popular with the boys. My advice would be to go to the Allen Outlets. There is a Ralph Lauren Factory Store there that always has great sales on the classic shirts.
And finally my personal favorite …
If all else fails, you can never go wrong with money. Even if your kid has a job, that doesn’t mean they don’t want their wallet to be a little fatter. Trust me, as simple as this gift idea may seem, any kid would love to get a wad of cash.
