TAPS Public Transit Promotes Two to Director

TAPS-Allen01Two departments at TAPS Public Transit now have expanded roles and new directors at the regional transportation agency. The changes were announced on Friday, March 7, by TAPS CEO and Executive Director, Brad Underwood.

Barbara Reeves is promoted to Director of Transportation Solutions and Community Relations. Reeves joined TAPS in May 2012 and was the agency’s very first Transportation Solutions Coordinator.

As the agency expanded south into Collin County, Reeves was very active in developing relationships with partner municipalities and organizations in the county.

Abderrazak “Zak” Kerfai is promoted to Director of Grants and Transportations Planning. Kerfai began as an intern in 2011. He graduated from Austin College in 2013 and joined TAPS as a full time employee in August of last year.
