The McKinney Boyd Swimming and Diving Team put on “an excellent performance” at this past weekend’s Mansfield Invitational, said head coach David Weintraub.
Out of 20 teams participating, the Girls and the Boys finished 6th.
The Broncos had many outstanding efforts and time drops during the meet. Highlights of the meet included senior Kristine Nagy’s 2nd place finish in the 100 Breaststroke, in which she broke her own school record, and sophomore Homero Cantu’s 3rd place finish in the 500 Freestyle.
Junior Kimberly Klein was selected Swimmer of the Meet by the team captains for her solid swims in both the 200 and 500 Freestyle events.
