Congrats to Stonebridge Ranch on the reopening of the Ranch clubhouse on Glen Oaks Drive.
The million-dollar improvement clubhouse project features an outdoor terrace that looks out over the golf course, plus:
* A new entry area to welcome members and guests
* An expanded bar and restaurant for members
* A new multimedia area and lounge
* Intimate dining seating with private TVs
* Communal dining – work, socialize and catch up all at one table
Check out the new stylish look on Thursdays, which is Ladies Night at the Twenty-8 Grill at the country club from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Ranch Clubhouse.
Martini Night is Friday, Feb. 10 from 4 -7 p.m. at Stonebridge Club House, 7003 Beacon Hill Dr. House Martinis are $3.
The Stonebridge Racers have their Cupid’s Couples running events at the McKinney YMCA at 300 Ridge Road on Saturday, Feb. 11. Registration starts at 7 a.m. The 1K Race starts at 7:45 a.m. with the 5K beginning its run through Stonebridge Ranch at 8 a.m.
Packet pickup will be at Lukes Locker in Allen on Thursday and Friday before the race. Packets will also be available at the YMCA the morning of the race from 7- 7:45 a.m. Race day parking will be available at the YMCA and Dowell Middle School.

Many shops in downtown McKinney will keep their doors open from 7 to 10 p.m. for this monthly event.
Second Saturday magic: Look for the Main Street Magic and Fun Company’s cabaret style magic show at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the Magic Attic Theater. Tickets are $10, and include a complimentary glass of wine for those 21 and older. This show is family friendly. Seating is limited. Reservations: 972-542-5010.
Second Saturday art: Annie Lee will be in attendance at the Laura Moore Fine Art Studio on opening night, Saturday, Feb. 11 with the exhibition “Annie Lee: A Texas Farewell,” featuring her new acrylic paintings. … Debra Linker will be demonstrating the making of art quilts at the Artist’s Loft. … Regional photographer Kim Robbins will be at Imaging on the Square. … Garret Art Gallery, enjoying its 25th year in downtown McKinney, will be featuring “Hearts & Flowers” by the 12 gallery artists. … Weeda Hamdan will showcase “Rendezvous with Reflections” at Orisons Art & Framing.
The McKinney Chamber’s “Flying High…Soaring Higher: Community Awards Celebration” will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 at the Collin County Regional Airport.
A free Little League coaches clinic on Sunday Feb. 26 at Frozen Ropes in McKinney. The clinic will be run by Coach Danny Florence. The T-Ball Coaching clinic will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and all other divisions will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on the same day.
