On the whole this was a good week and in a bit you will see mostly positive results. Unfortunately, “the Course(s)” of tasty delights I enjoyed at a dinner party didn’t help my cause!
Valerie immediately recognized a hint of guilt on my face as I entered Trim You Wellness for my Infrared Body Wrap treatment, but was very encouraging.
The fact is, cheating always comes back to haunt you and although I didn’t commit any crimes per se, that appetizer of bread-dipping escargot can put a dent in progress. That said, I was pretty good during the week at following my self-imposed low carb/high protein diet. And I drank lots of water! (Still working on increasing the exercise!)
We did the weekly weigh-in and recorded the newest vitals and I proceeded into the “cocoon” for a 45-minute nap. This week the musical stylings of Michael Bublé accompanied me on my journey! (For the record, Valerie does have music available but I recommend mixing your own playlist with the tunes that relax you most.)
After another serious draining of fluids, it was again time to sit with Valerie and review my progress.
So, what are the results?

As you can see, we have a good news/bad news situation…
The good news is I did lose another two pounds this week and an inch off my waist!
The bad news: Body fat increased a little and metabolism lowered.
Valerie’s recommendation, aside from sticking to the diet and excercise, is to supplement with a multivitamin that will help boost energy and increase metabolism. She even directed me to the local GNC where the product was on sale!
