A full range of fun music ranging from classic rock favorites to cool Texas country will provide an afternoon of good times for all. Featured bands and musicians include Parker Station, Mojo Dolls, Nate Kipp and White & Spears.

Parker Station is a seven-person, versatile band based in Plano that plays music favorites from classic rock to current contemporary hits. They play often at events hosted at the Heard Museum and area festivals.

Mojo Dolls, based in Dallas, features amazing guitar and vocals on songs by an eclectic mix of artists such as Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Pretenders, and Alabama Shakes. They play regularly in Dallas venues and surrounding cities, including Denton and Waco.

Nate Kipp, an accomplished singer and songwriter based in Dallas/Ft. Worth, brings his high energy Americana style of honky tonk music to the lineup. The music is insightful, hopeful, and sometimes comedic but with firm threads of truth that come shining through.

Rounding out the afternoon with solid Texas country music will be White & Spears. Take two successful lead singers with established credibility and records of their own, put ‘em together and you have a honky tonk revival. Texas Country music isn’t dead; it lives vibrantly and brilliantly in the souls of those still grounded enough to grasp its simple power.

Take a stand to prevent bullying, harassment, and assault in Collin County and join us for our EPIC Patio Party! For more information, please contact Jennifer Spugnardi at jspugnardi@theturningpoint.org or 972.985.0951.
