Meet Slippers, a six-month-old, 32 pound, Labrador Retriever mix. She has big, dark brown eyes and a solid black shiny coat that she enjoys having brushed. Slippers is friendly and loves to cuddle. She also likes short daily walks and getting in some regular play time. She is a smart girl who can already “sit”, she does it enthusiastically and especially when she is given a yummy treat (Milkbones are her favorite)!! Slippers was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on September 19th because her previous owner was moving and could not take her along. She has previously lived with other dogs, cats, and children. Did you know that you can bring your current, vaccinated dogs to the shelter to meet potential pets like Slippers? She has been spayed, Heartworm tested (she’s negative), micro-chipped, and received her age-appropriate vaccinations! Would Slippers be the perfect addition to your family? Come and meet her today! #121719
Meet Mr. Piggy, a handsome 4-year-old, 10 pound, blue and white Domestic Shorthair mix. His paws are white and he has a distinguished white stripe down his nose that brings out his gorgeous green eyes. Mr. Piggy was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on September 12th to find his forever home. He can be a little shy and nervous at first, but once he gets to know you, he is as sweet as can be! He loves to have his chin scratched and will purr loudly to show you how happy he is. Mr. Piggy enjoys spending his days lounging about, snuggling in a comfy bed, looking out the window, and playing with the occasional cat toy. His favorite toy is a cloth mouse dangling in front of him. He has been neutered, FIV/FeLV tested (he’s negative), micro-chipped, and received his age- appropriate vaccinations.
