This is Sassy, and her name really says it all! She’s a petite, sweet, sassy girl who wants to be part of your family. She lost her home on August 24 when her owners had to move, and they could not take her along. She’s really hoping to be adopted by a new, loving family who will take care of her forever. She’s a very pretty girl, with a sleek black coat and the most beautiful golden eyes. Sassy really likes to be the center of attention so she loves to be petted. She’s seven years old, and in the prime of her life. She keeps her girlish figure by playing with toys and her people friends. Sassy gets along well with other kitties, so she would be wonderful in a family with other feline friends. Please come by and see Sassy soon at the SPCA of Texas in McKinney. #13903120
Moose is a 6-month-old Shepherd mix with a silky, smooth black fur coat with a few white markings on his chest, paws and tail. This playful pup came in with his sister, Mitsie, who is also waiting for her new family at the SPCA of Texas. Moose is a very outgoing guy who loves to play with other dogs and toys. He is incredibly smart and eager to learn lots of ticks and commands using positive reinforcement. He hasn’t met any kids yet, but since he is still a kid himself, he would likely make an excellent family dog, especially with his friendly nature. Moose weighs about 40 pounds, and will probably grow to be about 50 pounds as an adult. Come take Moose home today! After all, how many of your friends can say, “Come meet me moose?” #13726071
