SPCA Pets of the Week: Roxie and Jude are Friendly and Playful

spca_roxieMeet Roxie, a friendly, 50 pound, chocolate brown Pit Bull mix. This sweetie pie loves going on walks and is very friendly on the leash. Roxie is smart and already knows tricks like “sit” and loves getting treats when she does. You will love Roxie’s light brown coat and adorable white paws. According to Roxie’s previous owner, she gets along well with children and other dogs, and is also housetrained. Did you know that you can bring your current, vaccinated pets to the shelter to meet potential pets like Roxie? Roxie was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas onFebruary 4 because her previous owners were moving away and could not take her with them. Roxie has already been spayed, microchipped and has received her age-appropriate vaccinations. She has also been dewormed and has received Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. What are you waiting for? Come meet Roxie today! #127946

spca_judeMeet Jude, a precious 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix with the most handsome blue coat around. Jude has lots of energy and loves to play with toys. Not only is he soft and shiny, but he also weighs in at a sleek 10 pounds. Jude was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on February 28 because his owner did not have enough time for him. He’s already neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV (he’s negative), microchipped and has received his age-appropriate vaccinations. Before he came to the SPCA of Texas, Jude’s front paws were declawed, so he will need to be an indoor-only kitty cat. This sweet boy would probably do best in a home with adults and teenagers since he can be a little fearful of new people and other animals. Attention and play time makes Jude the happiest! He chases the laser light when it rolls across the floor and loves to play with his mouse toy. What are you waiting for? Come meet Jude today! #126514
