Meet Penny, a gorgeous and friendly 37 pound Beagle mix. In addition to loving walks, Penny just loves spending time with her human companions. Penny has the most beautiful coat with adorable white paws and a white tip on her tail. Penny would do best in a home without children under six years of age. Did you know that you can bring your current, vaccinated pets to the shelter to meet potential pets like Penny? Per Penny’s previous owner, she has been housetrained. Penny was surrendered to the SPCA Texas on February 3 due to the declining health of her previous owner. She has already been spayed, microchipped, and received her age-appropriate vaccinations. She has also been dewormed and has received Heartworm and Flea/Tick preventatives. What are you waiting for? Come meet Penny today! #126694
Meet Malcolm, a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix who weighs in at 17 pounds and wears a handsome black coat. Malcolm was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on February 5 to find his forever home. He has already been neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV (he’s negative), microchipped and received his age-appropriate vaccinations. This sweet boy loves attention, petting, and playing with the feather and ribbon wand! He bats at it when it waves by and follows it along the floor. Malcolm’s previous family says that he is shy with strangers, but affectionate when he gets used to them. Malcolm lived with 3 children, 2 dogs and another cat in his previous home, so he is an easy going kitty cat. He is also gentle, sweet and loving with kids; they have fun playing together. Malcolm slept with the dog in his previous home and he and the cat groomed one another, so he is the sweetest boy around. Malcolm likes to climb and look out his condo window to see the dogs. He is very, very sweet and would love to go home and live with you and your family. Come meet this sweet boy today! #127978
