SPCA Pets of the Week: Noah and Maya

This week’s SPCA of Texas McKinney dog is Noah, a gentle, little Terrier mix who is five years old. This little guy can be a bit shy when you first meet him, but he is really coming out of shell at the SPCA of Texas. He’s very affectionate, and he likes to go on walks and play outside. He’s a quick learner, and he is doing very well with his leash training skills. Noah has a soft, blonde fur coat, and he is a petite little guy weighing only 15 pounds. Noah, along with several other dogs, were rescued from inhumane conditions by the SPCA of Texas, so he is really looking for a patient, gentle owner who will understand his background and give him the time he needs to adjust to his new family and surroundings. If you are looking for a loyal, calm companion to keep your lap warm, Noah is just the dog for you. Come see him at the SPCA of Texas. #13919633

This cute pie is Maya, a 5-month-old, Domestic Shorthair kitten with a brown, speckled, tabby fur coat. This lovable girl has a personality all her own! She is active, chatty and affectionate. She loves to play with anything she can get her paws on including bells, feathers, balls and more. Maya does have a fiesty side, but she is also extremely cuddly, and she likes to curl up next to you for some TLC. Maya would be a great companion for a family with another young, active cat who loves to play. She weighs five pounds so she is a petite girl, but she will likely grow to be a nice sized girl. Maya was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on September 23 because her previous owner said she needed too much attention. When you meet Maya, all you’ll want to do is give her as much attention as possible! Come to the SPCA of Texas today, and see if this fun loving girl is the perfect addition to your family! #14128206
