Meet Rowdy, a 2-year-old, 34 pound, black and tan Hound mix. He was transferred from another rescue to the SPCA of Texas on August 17 in hopes that he’d have a better chance of finding his forever home. He’s a sweet fella, but he is very shy right now. When staff and volunteers come to his kennel, he is very curious and wants to say hello. With a little TLC, love and some gentle and positive touches, he knows he’ll really come out of his shell. Rowdy just really wants to have a family of his very own that he can love forever. You can go for walks, play ball or simply cuddle together! If you currently have dogs in your home, the SPCA of Texas will let you bring them by for a meet-and-greet with him. This way, they can all get introduced and get to know each other a little better. Rowdy has been neutered, microchipped and has received all age-appropriate vaccinations. Stop by today and get this adoption rolling. He can’t wait to be your new best friend! #142550
Meet Bella, a beautiful, sweet and gentle 11-year-old lady. She has lots of “curves” and weighs 13 gorgeous pounds of snuggly-love! Her personality is pleasant, and she loves being a part of the family. She was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas because her family is moving. She’s looking for a loving family who would like a mellow cat! She has been spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV (she’s negative), microchipped and has received age-appropriate vaccinations. Her breed is Domestic Shorthair mix, and she’s wearing a soft, black with white fur coat. Bella knows her name and will look at you when you call her! She likes being picked up and petted on her neck, head and back. Her hobby is to play chase and pounce with little toys. She’s hoping she can become your companion cat and share all her love with you. That will make her golden years so special. Bella is waiting for your visit today! #62340
