Meet Lexie, a very energetic, happy girl- she should have been featured in that “Happy” song’s music video. She is a 9-month-old Shepherd mix, weighing in at 33 pounds. Her fur is primarily black, but she has tan and white markings. She LOVES playing with toy balls of all sizes and really likes playing fetch- though sometimes she gets so excited when she gets the ball that she forgets to bring it back! Need help with your batting or putting practice? She’d be happy to round up those stray balls for you! She will sit when you ask her to, and she is learning to walk on a leash. Lexie was transferred to the SPCA of Texas from another shelter on May 19 to help her find a good home. She is heartworm positive, but thanks to generous donors, her treatments are FREE to her new family- your only investment is taking her for treatments and lots of love and affection while she recovers. Lexie has been spayed, microchipped and has received age-appropriate vaccinations as well as flea/tick preventatives. Come in and play with her today – she is so excited to meet you! #141162
Meet Bogie, an 8-years-young, 13 pound black and white handsome cat. His breed is Domestic Longhair mix. He has a black patch above one eye, yellow eyes and a cute pink nose. He was surrendered on May 14 to find his furr-ever new home because the other animals in his home did not like him. It’s hard to imagine anyone not liking this sweet guy! He’s very good-looking, has a strong purr and loves petting. Bogie has been neutered, had a dental exam with treatment, tested for FIV/FeLV (he’s negative), microchipped and has received age-appropriate vaccinations. At first, he may seem a bit shy but he quickly becomes friendly. He is a mellow couch potato and would love to sit and watch TV with you! Just say the word companion and that will describe me perfectly! Visit Bogie today and you can start your new friendship together! #134613
