SPCA Pets of the Week: Dixie and Daisy

Dixie truly is the sweetest girl west of the Mississippi! She’s a petite Manx kitty, weighing only eight pounds, and she’s a young, talkative girl at only two years old. She was surrendered on April 21 to the SPCA of Texas because her previous family didn`t have time for her. This is her second visit to the SPCA of Texas, and as much as she enjoys all the staff and volunteers who love on her every day, she’s really ready to find that new, special family who will care for her forever. Dixie has adorable white paws and is the biggest snuggle bug. She has a cute little, black-tipped nose and an adorable black and white coat. Dixie was raised inside, so she will be a very happy housecat. She is friendly with children, but will do best in an only kitty home. Come and say hi to her today! She’s also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because she has been waiting for her new, loving family for more than 30 days, and she has a special adoption price of $50! #10151603

Daisy is a precious, absolutely wonderful Shepherd mix. She has a gorgeous, amber coat and weighs nearly 60 pounds. She was transferred in to the SPCA of Texas on April 1, and has been waiting for her new home ever since. She is great on a leash and gives the sweetest kisses ever! Plus, Daisy has very nice manners. She doesn’t jump, and she’s very, very gentle. Daisy will make a wonderful family pet. She is three years old and will make anyone who is looking for a companion the happiest dog owner on the planet. Although Daisy is heartworm positive, her treatments are FREE to her new family at a Metroplex-area VCA Animal Hospital after she is adopted. This will provide the best total care for heartworm positive dogs like her in treatment, as they’ll have access to emergency care and overnight stays if necessary. Come on down and meet Daisy today! #12806608
