SPCA Pets of the Week: Bart and Sandie Need a Loving Family

spca_bartMeet Bart, a handsome six-year-old, 61 pound, Chow Chow mix. He has a gorgeous red coat and loving brown eyes.  Bart is friendly, very sweet and calm.  He loves to go outside, play and get some daily exercise. He enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash. He was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on September 27th because his previous owner passed away.  Bart is heartworm positive, but his treatments are FREE to his new family at a Metroplex-area VCA Animal Hospital after he’s adopted.  He has been neutered, micro-chipped, and received his age-appropriate vaccinations! Bart is a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he’s been waiting for his new, loving family for more than 30 days, and he has a special lower adoption price! He is sure to fill your life with lots of love, laughter, and cuddles! Would Bart be the perfect addition to your family? Come and meet him today! #122150

Meet Sandie, a laid-back 5-year-old, 17 pound, Domestic Short Hair mix. He has a beautiful buff tabby coat that goes so well with his amazing gold eyes.  Sandie was spca_sandie2surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on August 3 to look for his forever home because his previous owner had too many animals.  He is a very gentle boy, and has a lovely relaxed attitude. Sandie enjoys lounging about, observing his surroundings and napping, but he also likes to come and snuggle up to you and say hello. His previous owner described him as “very loving and friendly”, and you can tell by his constant purring when you pet him! He has been neutered, FIV/FeLV tested (he is negative), micro-chipped and has received all of his age-appropriate vaccinations. You are sure to fall in love with Sandi when you come and say hello, so what are you waiting for? Come and meet him today! #118677
