This week’s SPCA of Texas McKinney cat is a beautiful girl named Abby, a 2-year-old, black and white, Domestic Shorthair kitty with gorgeous, green eyes! She’s about 9 pounds, so she’s the perfect size to keep your lap warm. She was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on September 6 because her previous owner said she wasn`t using the litter box. Well, when they brought her to the SPCA of Texas, the veterinarian said Abby suffered bladder stones, and she wasn`t feeling very well. Unfortunately, her previous owner didn`t take her to the vet for a check up, so she was having some medical issues that prevented her from using the litter box. Now that she’s at the SPCA of Texas, she has a special diet that helps make her feel better, and she has also received medical treatment that the adoption counselors will discuss with you. Abby is now feeling 100% better, and she’s ready and waiting for her new home. She’s very friendly, and sometimes she’ll even talk to you. She loves to purr and rub her head against you. She will make a great companion. She’s a VIP (Very Important Pet) because she’s been waiting for her new, forever family for more than 30 days, and she has a special adoption price of $50!
This week’s SPCA of Texas McKinney dog is Sadie, a friendly, 2-year-old, Shepherd mix who is ready to meet her new family. Sadie is a medium sized girl with a beautiful honey colored fur coat and a tail that never stops wagging. She is a very intelligent girl who is already housetrained, obedience trained, and leash trained. She’s a social butterfly who gets along well with everyone including kids, other dogs and even cats! She is an easygoing girl who is happy to sit with you and watch T.V. or cuddle while you read a book. She also loves to great outdoors, so she will be an excellent walking buddy. Sadie is eager to learn new tricks and settle in as a part of your family. Come meet her today at the SPCA of Texas in McKinney. She’s a VIP (Very Important Pet) because she’s been waiting for her new, forever family for more than 30 days, and she has a special adoption price of $50!
