SPCA Pet of the Week: You Can Bring Christmas to Your Home, Even in May

Submitted by Meaghan Swan, SPCA of Texas

Meet Christmas, a handsome 2-year-old, 60 pound, American Bulldog/Australian Cattledog mix. He has gorgeous red and white coat with soft chocolate brown eyes. He even has cute little red spots on his face, chest, and feet! Christmas is an active boy, who loves going outside and taking walks. He is quite the athlete and will need a home where he can get plenty of exercise and play time. He would make a great workout buddy if you are looking to get in tiptop shape for the summer! Christmas loves toys and likes to have several at all times so that he always has something to do, especially during the day when you are out and about.  He is a smart boy, treat motivated, and currently enrolled in the SPCA’s training classes.  Christmas was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on April 25th because he was active and did not fit in with his previous owner’s lifestyle. Christmas is a social butterfly and gets along with all sorts of people and dogs.  Did you know that you can bring your current, vaccinated pets to the shelter to meet potential pets like him? He would love to have a buddy to play with!  Just like his name, Christmas is sure to bring joy, love, and laughter in to your life! He has been neutered, Heartworm tested ( He’s negative), micro-chipped, and has received his age- appropriate vaccinations! Would Christmas be the perfect addition to your family? Come and meet him today! #113873
