Meet Sheriff, a 9-year-old Hound mix who is in charge of everything adorable here at the SPCA of Texas. Since he is a little more mature than his other dog friends, and incredibly intelligent, Sheriff is the perfect guy for someone looking to go on leisurely walks and relax at home. This smart boy has already been to obedience school, is housebroken, crate trained and gets along well with other dogs. Sheriff hasn’t met any kiddos yet, so he couldn’t tell you what he thinks of them, but he is definitely very friendly and playful. Did you know that you can bring the whole family in to the SPCA of Texas to meet Sheriff before you take him home? That way, you can get to know one another before spending your lives together. Sheriff was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on February 26 because his family had to move away. Though he misses them terribly, he knows that he will find his forever family soon. What are you waiting for? Come meet Sheriff today! #112294
