SPCA Pet of the Week: Sookie is a Sweet Girl Who Needs a Forever Home This Christmas

Submitted by Stephanie Daniels, SPCA Communications

Meet Sookie, a beautiful 2-year-old black and white Labrador Retriever mix with a gorgeous smile. Sookie is an extremely sweet girl who would love nothing more than a forever home. Sookie is super smart and would benefit greatly from regular exercise, as well as mental stimulation to keep her brain busy. She would also love to learn some tricks! Sookie is already house broken, crate trained and absolutely love kids! Though she gets along well with other dogs, Sookie isn’t the biggest fan of kitty cats. Sookie was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on November 2 by my owner and, although she enjoys her play dates with her friends here at the SPCA of Texas, Sookie can’t wait to meet her forever family. #70622
