Hi there! This sweetheart named Freida. She’s a 3-year-old, Boxer mix with a happy, little, freckled face just aching to meet you. She was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on July 10 from another shelter, and she’s been waiting for her new home ever since. Freida is a very sweet, loving and playful girl with a happy-go-lucky outlook on life. She is always in a great mood, and you can bet she’ll have a tailwag and a smile waiting for you at all times! Freida is heartworm positive, but her treatments are FREE to her new family at a Metroplex-area VCA Animal Hospital after she’s adopted. This will provide the best total care for heartworm positive dogs like Freida in treatment, as they’ll have access to emergency care and overnight stays if necessary. Freida is a student in the Pet Enrichment program where she’s learning basic manners like “sit,” “down,” and how to walk beside you on the leash. She’s a really smart girl so I hope you come and meet her soon!
