Meet Freckles! He’s a 2-year-old, Spaniel mix with a velvety, white fur coat and lots of red freckles all over. He sort of resembles a red velvet cake, and we promise he’s just as sweet! He’s a very friendly, outgoing guy who has all the smarts as well as the looks. He’s already house trained, leash trained, and he knows his basic commands! Freckles weighs just under 40 pounds so he’s a slender, healthy guy who likes to stay fit. He enjoys moderate exercise so if you are looking for a walking buddy, he would love to keep you company. Freckles is a great motivator! But don’t worry, he’s past his puppy phase, so you don’t have to worry about him jumping or pulling on the leash! He was raised as an inside dog, so he’s used to being a part of the family. He’s very loyal and always wants to protect the ones he loves, so he promises to always keep you safe! Freckles would do great in a family with older kids (over 12), and he’s never lived with any dogs or cats before, but he is open to making new friends! Freckles is currently in a play group at the SPCA of Texas with some of his doggie friends, so if you do have other dogs at home, bring them out to meet Freckles! He was brought to the SPCA of Texas on March 29, and he’s been waiting for his new, loving family ever since! Come see him soon. #95632
