By Mike Bruu, TSB Sports Editor

After Friday night’s games, there is just one week remaining in district softball play as the playoff picture in 10-5A and 13-4A began to clear up. With Boyd and North clinching postseason spots, only the Lionettes remained as they try to hang on for the fourth and final spot in District 10-5A. Below are scores and recaps from Friday night’s action, along with updated standings:

McKinney Boyd:

In the regular season finale, Boyd hosts crosstown rival McKinney High (4-5) on Thursday, beginning at 7 p.m.
