seven loaves communityThe Seven Loaves Community is asking for help to feed 750 Collin County families this Thanksgiving and provide them with warm winter coats.

The following items are needed to complete the Thanksgiving boxes: 6 ounce boxes of stuffing mix; 16 ounce boxes of mashed potatoes; 29 ounce or 15 ounce cans of sweet potatoes and fruit cocktail. Monetary donations are also helpful to supplement items as needed.

Additionally, Seven Loaves is in need of coats, especially sizes for boys ages 5 – 12 and girls ages 5 -14 for the coat distribution.

All items should be dropped off no later than November 17 at Seven Loaves Community Center, located on the St. Andrew United Methodist Church campus, 5801 Plano Parkway, just off of Mira Vista.  For information and questions, call 214-291-8038.

“Seven Loaves will also be providing turkeys, green beans, corn, and rice to these families, but these items have already been secured,” said Rev. Jennifer Arnold, Executive Director, Seven Loaves Community.  “We hope the community can provide the remaining items, helping these families to have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.  We appreciate and thank everyone participating in this holiday effort.”

Checks may be made out to Seven Loaves Community, 5801 Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75093.
