We can no longer ignore the bullying that is prevalent in our McKinney schools. I have had two kids who have gone through the McKinney school district. It is unbelievable to say that they were both so bullied by MISD students that I had to call the police multiple times. Even when the students admitted to their roles when questioned by police while at school, the school refused to take any action at all. We cannot allow bullying to be condoned by inaction by school leadership.
My son was bullied just yesterday by a group of football players. When I informed the coach he immediately became defensive and tried to blame the victim for being in the wrong place. Unbelievable! This must stop and if parents don’t act, McKinney will eventually have something catastrophic occur that will compel action.
Don’t sweep this under the rug anymore…our kids are suffering. First at the hands of the bullies and later by school administration who further victimize students by inaction. What will it take to stop this? It is time to act. I will act even if I must act alone. It may be your child that is saved from further teasing and torment.
