J. Martin Sanchez, running for the open at-large seat on the McKinney City Council in this month’s election, today announced an endorsement by former McKinney at-large council member Dr. Brad Wysong.
Dr. Wysong is proud to endorse Sanchez and said, “When Martin served as the City of McKinney’s long-range planner, we knew we were in good hands with his vision and leadership. Martin doesn’t take sides. He will always advocate for what is right for McKinney, not what is expedient. I’m proud to have him in McKinney, and the future of our great city would be in good hands with him as the next at-large council member.”
A video with more commentary from Dr. Wysong is available on Martin Sanchez’s website at www.martin4mckinney.com.
“During his service as a council member, Dr. Wysong helped change McKinney’s future by pushing for a long-range planning department that would allow McKinney to focus on the future,” said Sanchez. “He believed in smaller government, more responsive customer service, more efficient government, less bureaucracy, and above all else, McKinney. I am proud to have Dr. Wysong’s endorsement. He has always put McKinney first.”
