By Angie Bado, TSB Publisher

On Thursday evening the McKinney Community Development Corporation sponsored a SERVE McKinney event at the Collin College Higher Education building that provided the various city boards and commissions and non-profit organizations with the opportunity to engage with local residents as they explored potential avenues for serving the community.

The event was open to the public at no charge and was hosted by the Leadership McKinney Alumni Network.

The deadline for applications is June 28, 2013. To find out more about the various board and commissions and to apply online, click here.
