Reel McKinney: JoAnn Scofield Tells Stuart J’s Lens How She Turned Tragedy Into Support

By Stuart J. Pearlman, TSB Staff

What is your worst nightmare?

McKinney resident JoAnn Scofield and her husband Clint have faced a tragedy parents never want to think about. But through her grief and resolve JoAnn discovered the best way to heal herself was to help others do the same.

Listen in as JoAnn shares some of the painful memories and, more importantly, describes her path to developing programs intended to help people who are grieving understand they can have, “joy in their lives again.”

If you are interested in learning more about the programs JoAnn leads, contact the First United Methodist Church of McKinney and ask about their Grief Support Ministry or check out their website.
