Really?…There’s an App for That?
Really?…There's an App for That?
Call me spoiled, but if I’m at an out-of-town UIL 5A sporting event, I’d love to have access to a ladies room. 9 out of 9 baseball moms agree that plumbing is a plus. At a recent ballgame at a high school in a city that rhymes with ARLAND, 9 out of 9 baseball moms found themselves out of luck on a locked-up-tight-for-the-night campus. Now, I don’t know if you’ve ever spent a lot of time with baseball moms, but you really don’t want to mess with the cranky, cross-legged variety in need of a good Plan B. Especially if her son is coming up to bat any time soon.
Which leads me to my really moment. Did you know that if you are stuck with no place to go, that there’s an app for that? The Sit and Squat app (sponsored by Charmin, naturally), allows you to dink in your location, and it guides you to a potty near you.
And speaking of cranky, cross-legged baseball moms, did you know there are Potty Parity Parent Coalitions, and Women for Potty Parity activist groups? Texas calls for an equal number of women’s facilities to men’s, to for example, shorten lines at major sporting events. I guess in our case at our less than major sporting event potty parity was being observed, as 9 out of 9 baseball dads, players, and coaches were also in need of a good Plan B. Good thing there’s an app for that.
