If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, you need to hurry because the winner of the log cabin playhouse will be announced at 5 pm Saturday at the ReStore.
Painted by McKinney artist Jeni Tomlinson, the house has a fenced front porch and tin roof and is ready to provide hours of fun for your youngsters. It would also make a welcome gift for a charity serving children, church or day care center.
The drawing is part of the annual Spring Bling sponsored by the ReStore, operated by North Collin County Habitat for Humanity. Events include free hot dogs and drinks, live entertainment by Marty Ruiz, Faces by Darlene face-painting, balloon twisting, Cathy’s Critters Petting Zoo from 11:30 – 1 and the Magic Man, sure to amaze everyone. Families are invited to participate in an art project decorating doors to be hung on the ReStore walls.
Donate an item the ReStore sells and receive a 25% off one item coupon. Customers may choose an egg from our basket for a discount or prize during the event, which is free for everyone.
Playhouse tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and will be sold all day Saturday up to 5 p.m.
The ReStore is located at 2060 Couch Drive, McKinney, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. and sells new and used building materials, furniture, lighting, home décor and much more. Proceeds are used to build and renovate homes in North Collin County.
