This Saturday marks the 3rd annual Plano Fun Ride. This year families will “pedal the world in 80 minutes” by riding from stop to stop, each with a different country as it’s theme. The Plano Fun Ride was created by a board member of the Relief Nursery of Collin County as an attempt to get families to come together to help raise money to prevent child abuse. The Relief Nursery of Collin County is a nonprofit child-abuse prevention agency that serves at risk families with children up to 6 years old. It focuses on early prevention through counseling, workshops, a therapeutic classroom, and in-home visits.
If you’re worried about the heat, don’t be! We are starting early, and there will be plenty of water at each stop along the way. Let this be a great way to start your weekend, and get the kids out of the house during the heat wave! We have a 5 and 10 mile routes. In addition to the ride we will have fun for the whole family including, food, facepainting, games, and a concert starting right after the race!
The ride begins at 8am, this Saturday, August 6!
Check in and line up at 7am.
