Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” aired undercover footage Monday evening of apparent corruption by Obamacare Navigators, the agents hired to enroll participants in Obamacare.
According to the footage obtained, produced, and released by Project Veritas, Obamacare Navigators were seen encouraging enrollees to commit fraud by declaring false incomes and health statements.
Responding to these reports, State Senator Ken Paxton (R-McKinney) said, “Tonight there were disturbing reports of an undercover operation exposing federally-funded employees encouraging people to provide false information as part of their application for health coverage. These actions appear to indicate an effort to increase fraudulent participation in an already flawed and costly program. This is unacceptable, and is further evidence that we must not give up the fight to repeal Obamacare.”
Paxton is running for Texas Attorney General.
“The Attorney General plays a lead role in protecting taxpayers through investigating waste, fraud, and abuse, and this is one of main reasons I am running for this office,” Paxton said. “As Attorney General, it will be a top priority to ensure that those defrauding taxpayers are prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law.”
