Wear red to show your support for Collin County’s warriors and their families.
The TownSquareBuzz Foundation continues our “Paint the Town Red” campaign, encouraging citizens of McKinney and Collin County to wear red each and every Friday as a way to show encouragement and support for our local service members, veterans and their families.
Buy your Honor Those Who Serve t-shirts before Monday’s hometown Fourth of July Parade, which starts at 10:00 AM and marches through the downtown square. Several warriors and family members will be joining us on our “Paint the Town” float.
Purchase the limited edition shirts at Square Burger, located at 115 North Kentucky St., for $15 ($20 for XXL). In fact, you can find the entire staff showcasing the red shirts on Fridays. Cash or check only please.
We’ll also be selling the shirts at Red, White and Boom prior to the fireworks display at Craig Ranch. Look for us at the McKinney MASH UP karaoke booth, of which TownSquareBuzz is a partner.
We launched “Paint the Town Red” at Brike the Bricks in May. It stems from the national Red Shirt Fridays initiative. T-shirt proceeds will go to Community Lifeline Center to provide services to veterans in Collin County.
The mission of the TownSquareBuzz Foundation is to increase community awareness about the unique needs of veterans, service members and their families and direct resources to support and improve their overall well-being.
