The Texas Department of Transportation project to widen U.S. 75 from the Sam Rayburn Tollway White Ave. in McKinney is underway. For this construction project, TxDOT will temporarily close northbound Eldorado Pkwy. Exits from Sunday, April 1, to Sunday, July 1. Eldorado Pkwy. and the U.S. 75 frontage roads will not be closed during this period.
The Eldorado Pkwy. Exit from northbound U.S. 75 will be closed. In order to access Eldorado Pkwy. from northbound U.S. 75, drivers should take Exit 38B and continue northbound on the frontage road to Eldorado Pkwy.
The Eldorado Pkwy. Exit from northbound SRT to northbound U.S. 75 also will be closed. In order to get to Eldorado Pkwy. from northbound SRT, drivers should exit SRT to the frontage road and continue to the U.S. 75 frontage road to Eldorado Pkwy. Advanced warning signs will be installed to inform drivers of these closures. This TxDOT construction project, which is anticipated to be complete in March 2015, will provide much needed extra capacity by widening U.S. 75 to four main lanes in each direction and three frontage road lanes in each direction.
