Eleven McKinney ISD high school seniors were among approximately 5,000 academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino students recognized by the College Board in September through its National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP).
Based on performance and academic criteria, each year the NHRP honors some 5,000 of the highest-scoring students from among more than 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT®. Students must take the test during their junior year, achieve the minimum cutoff score and achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher by the conclusion of their junior year.
